The text below shows how to find out more about something you can see on a map. You'll notice that when you move the cursor over the map image, it changes to a question mark and arrow, indicating that a click will query the map layers for information.
Once you've displayed a feature of interest on the map, you can find out more about it simply by moving the cursor over it and clicking once. Take care not to click and drag the mouse, or that will move the map image to a new location instead.
You will then see a table that lists all the features of interest that lie under that point on the map. For example, the list always includes the relevant Natural England Area Team at that point on the map. When you click over a site such as an NNR, you will see the NNR listed as well.
Some of the features you will see listed have hyperlinks to additional information sources.
