Click on the Targeting and Planning Map map image - this will take you to additional information about the map features. A series of tables will be presented; the exact content of these will depend on which stream is being interrogated. Each feature (from the list of identifiable map layers) present at the mouse-click map location will be listed, together with relevant associated information (eg feature area) and links.
In the BAP Priority Habitat stream the area (in hectares) of any thematically mapped habitat within the Primary Information layer feature (eg NCAs) is listed, the percentage of the national resource of any thematically mapped habitat within the feature is listed (which was used to determine its class in the Thematic Map layer), and the rank value is listed (used to label the feature). There will also be a link to "Priority Habitat Details." Clicking on this link will produce a report which tabulates the same habitat area, percentage of resource, and rank of feature values for all BAP Priority habitats currently held in the Nature on the Map database. This way you can find out how important a particular feature is for all the BAP Priority Habitats.
In the Farmland Bird stream the Information tool will report the presence of any of the relevant Farmland Bird species records present at the chosen location.
In the Priority Catchments stream the information report will provide a table detailing the name of either the Priority Catchment selected (name and area of site), or the Designated Site at risk of diffuse agricultural pollution (name, area and further site details).
