Basic Zooming outlines how to navigate using the map zoom control and pan arrows.

You can also zoom straight in to an area within the map you are viewing by holding down the "Ctrl" key on your keyboard whilst you click and drag with the mouse to draw a box on the map. The map will then zoom to the box you have drawn.

You can also zoom out of an area in a similar way. To 'shrink' the current map area inside a box that you draw on the map, hold down the "Shift" key on your keyboard whilst you click and drag the box with your mouse. The map will redraw zoomed out.

You can also pan across the map in any direction by holding down the "Alt" key whilst you click and drag the map image around with your mouse. When you release the mouse button, the map will redraw in the new location. The scale will not change.
